Former Yankees manager Joe Girardi has been named the new manager of the Phillies. Girardi, who spent ten seasons managing New York from 2008-2017, signed a three year deal with the option for a fourth.

Girardi brought a World Series championship to New York in 2009, and the Phillies hope he can do the same for them. And coming from the Yankees organization, he’ll have experience managing big egos names like Bryce Harper.
